Who do we help?

Fortunately, most people fully recover from COVID-19. However, there is an increasing group of people that is still suffering from corona symptoms three months after being infected. C-supports has been especially founded to help this group of people.

C-support model

C-support provides advice and support to people who suffer from long-term corona symptoms. We are looking into the symptoms and the impact of those symptoms across all areas of life. The symptoms may impact physical and mental health, social life or work and income. We assess what is needed to improve the situation. We help in finding the appropriate care providers. And we work closely together with labor experts, lawyers and financial consultants in respect of problems regarding work and income.

Proper healthcare requires professionals who know all the latest information about the disease. Therefore, we share our knowledge with healthcare providers and other professionals. By educating them via webinars and trainings. That knowledge is gained through research. That is why we promote research and give advice on research into Long COVID. However, C-support doesn’t do any research.

Lessons learned since the Q fever epidemic

We at C-support have learned a lot during the Q fever epidemic. C-support is an affiliate organization of Q-support, the foundation that helps patients who suffer from Q fever receive appropriate aftercare. The symptoms associated with COVID-19 are similar to the Q fever symptoms. Moreover, we know from the experiences of Q-support that aftercare is essential to be able to fully recover after an infectious disease. And that we shouldn’t only focus on the symptoms. But also look at the impact of those symptoms across all areas of life.
